Joining the Irish SAC

New to diving?

If you think you would like to join us as a member, why not come along and meet us in the ESB Sportsco pool in Ringsend on Monday nights at 10.00pm (after our pool training session).

We also run an intensive trainee diver course, but would initially invite you to our Try-a-Dive pool session first, to see if diving is the sport for you!! For more details simply contact us.

Have you already got diving certification?

CFT is affiliated to C.M.A.S.- Confederation Mondiale des Activites Subaquatiques- and our club uses the C.M.A.S. training principles and practices, with particular emphasis on a high standard of training and safety for all our divers. All our club members have various CMAS grades which can include Trainee Diver *, Club Diver **, Leading Diver ***, Rescue Diver, Boat Driver (Cox'n), Instructor (Moniteur) etc.

If however, you have a P.A.D.I./B.S.A.C. certification, it is still possible to join our club by doing a few 'cross over' lectures and practical examinations which we can organise for you. Indeed, we welcome any new members to our club with previous training/accreditation from other diving bodies, or other clubs!!
